Topp232023 - Block 6 : Fart
After building a solid base, we can start to build on top now. Focus on these two weeks is on developing speed.
How can we develop our speed? The best way is with doing Intervalls. By doing those intense repetitions we can train the body (hearth, muscles and movements) to cope better with high speed and run more effective, hence save energy and be able to run fast for longer time. There are many different kind of Intervalls you can do. For example 12 times 400m with 200m jogging in between. Or 5 times 1600m with 400m jogging. By mixing them up, you train your body to be able to cope with different needs for running.
Do not forget to warm you up properly. And also do a cool down, to avoid injuries!
Since we have so many intervall trainings, it would be great to see you all on one of these
